“‘The Longest Runway” during London Fashion Week SS23

Award-winning Tuncer Tonun started his fashion adventure at Bahar Korcan’s Studio, working as an assistant. He studied fine arts, textiles and fashion at Yeditepe University, Istanbul with first class honours. Whilst studying, he freelanced within many projects such as corporate identity, stage and theatre costumes, adverts, films and music video costume designing.
While working as a stylist and image consultant, Tuncer come to prominence when he teamed up with Tarkan, a popular Turkish singer, who he designed concert and video costumes for.
Noted for designs made from recycled and environmentally friendly materials, the Tuncer Tonun has become synonymous with extravagant Haute Couture designs while also having an approach to fashion that is ethically-sound and eco-stylish.
Since moving to London from Turkey in 2010,  Tonun has emerged as a leading global talent with a distinctively feminine aesthetics. Through merging classic couture elements with an uptown chic attitude. he has created a supremely womanly and unapologetically glamorous sensibility. He is inspired by shape, architecture, and colour. Every design focuses on flattering a real woman/man’s body.
